Where are our juvenile Gps-tagged cranes?

Where did our GPS-tagged cranes spend their first wintering period? The map below Shows the answer. "Hugo" flew during the freezing period further North, while "Bärchen" came back on 09.01. to Diepholzer Moorniederung in Lower Saxony. The bird flew 222 km within less than 5 hours. This example Shows how quick cranes can escape from dangerous weather conditions. "Pitti" stays in the resting area Diepholzer Moorniederung and "Platsch" is still east of Lübeck, where it seems to find enough food.
