Still open in November
Many cranes have already left us and headed south. Occasionally, you can still spot a flock or two on corn stubble.
Regardless, there is still so much to discover at KRANICHWELTEN. How many species of cranes are there in the world and how do they call? Stand under the sound shower and all 15 species begin to trumpet one after the other.
Stand in the meadow with the cranes. The VR glasses with a 360° panoramic view are ideal for this. No one else can get this close to the cranes.
Various specimens give an impression of the diverse animal world. The demoiselle crane (the smallest) stands right next to the sarus crane (the largest). This would hardly ever happen in nature because they are at home in very different regions.
Whether you are frozen from observing nature or exhausted from walking around the exhibition. A stop at the bistro will give you new energy and warm you up.
The KRANICHWELTEN experience centre is open in November on Mon, Tue, Thu and Fri from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Children up to the age of 14 are free. Everyone else currently pays the reduced price of €6.50.
We warmly welcome you!
