ENSeek for a new federal volunteer at the Crane Information Centre
For a support of our work at the Crane Information Centre and at the Crane Observation Station KRANORAMA we are looking for a new federal volunteer from 1st June 2017 onwards.
Your tasks will be:
- assisting our work on public relations and environmental education
- supporting our work at the Crane Observation Station KRANORAMA
- participating in our monitoring of cranes and other resting birds
- assisting our work in the exhibition at the Crane Information Centre
- further tasks by mutual agreement
We offer you:
- a varied job for a duration of 6 to 12 months
- free accommodation at the Crane Information Centre (double room, shared apartment)

We look for people with:
- pleasant contact to other people
- interest in field work and environmental education work
- flexibility and dedication (e.g. also work at weekends possible)
- car driving licence (if possible: own car)
Background:
The Crane Information Centre is situated within an important area for resting cranes and other bird species. During their migration between breeding and wintering areas crane use stopover sites at the Vorpommern coast evering spring and autumn. The Crane Information Centre informs visitors about these majestic migratory birds since 1996. The Centre also offers jobs in the framework of the federal volunteer service since 2015.
