More than 10.000 cranes at the German Baltic sea coast

Here they are - the results of the synchonous count of last weekend. More than 10.000 cranes have already arrived in the region of the national park "Vorpommersche Boddenlandschaft" near Gorß Mohrdorf. Crane watching is a lot of fun during this nice weather conditions now. But be aware that cranes are on the fields of the mainland during the day. Only during the night cranes stay in the shallow water of the Bodden. So, if you look to the island "Große Kirr" in front of Zingst during the day, you will not see many cranes. Just come to the Günzer Lake meadows, where the KRANORAMA is located, and watch hundreds of cranes feeding, drinking, dancing.
