Latvian cranes already in Germany

Our cranes „Lettlandi“ (currently in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania) und „Baltico“ (currently in Brandenburg) were marked with GPS-tags in July 2019 when they were juveniles. Cranes from the Baltic Region usually spend their first summer in Germany. The second year they usually spend in their home country as the cranes "Orpheus" and "Dimon" do. 

For the next year we are looking for sponsors for another GPS-tag to continue our study about Latvian cranes. If you would like to have a crane godchild and observe its movements live in the internet, please find more information here.
