Flying home

250 cranes were seen on 1st of January 2018 near the Crane Information Centre. One of them was ringed and identified as a crane from Sweden marked in 2013. Last year in winter it was seen in Spain, but this year the farest location away from home was Lower Saxony in Germany. Therewith, these cranes already seem to be on their way home.
