Drama at KRANORAMA

For days, the resident pair at Lake Günzer managed to scare away new arrivals from the feeding area with intense effort. Today, their resistance was broken. There were simply too many newcomers! Now we have over 50 cranes and dozens of grey and white-fronted geese, as well as mallards, starlings, skylarks, stonechats, etc. on and around the feeding area. What a wonderful backdrop in the beautiful spring weather. It's the perfect place to relax and unwind.

The KRANORAMA observation station is open daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in spring! Since 1 March, the NABU KRANICHWELTEN experience centre (Straße des Friedens 21c, 18445 Günz) has also been open to visitors daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Welcome!
