Crane ringing activities in 2017 successfully finished

From 12th of June until 12th of July 2017, an international ringing team of the Crane Information Centre was active in Germany (Mecklenburg-West Pomerania), Latvia and Georgia, to catch and colormark cranes. On some cranes also additional transmitters were attached. During the last week the team worked in Georgia, were altogether 8 juvenile Eurasian Cranes of the rare subspecies Grus grus archibaldi were caught and banded.
