Crane, Goose & Co.

Since Monday, our modern observation platform, the KRANORAMA, has been open for birdwatchers. Our crane rangers are at your disposal with their expert knowledge and are happy to help you operate the observation equipment.

It is not yet the large gatherings that can be observed here. Instead, it is still nice and quiet when observing the first resting birds on the meadow in front of the platform. Small groups may already be fighting over food. Our rangers have already spread a few sacks of maize over the area.

In addition to cranes, greylag geese can always be spotted. Occasionally, grey heron and great egrets drop by. With a bit of luck, the white-tailed eagle will do the honours. It is not only the bird life that can be marvelled at. There is a fox peeking out of the reed belt, a family of wild boars dashing across the meadow or roe deer grazing.

Feel free to drop by. The KRANORAMA is open daily from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. We look forward to your visit.
