ENDistraction feeding
In spring and autumn, we commission local farmers to scatter corn and grain on our land for cranes and other migratory birds. Around 30 tonnes every year.
Over the decades, these areas have become well-known ‘refuelling stations’ and important resting places for cranes migrating along the coast of Vorpommern. Feed, tractors and labour have become expensive, and diversionary feeding can now only be financed through donations.
With just 2 €, we can feed a crane for a week at our diversionary feeding site. Donate now and help one or more cranes continue their journey.!
